"There are an awful lot of vegetables in your blog heading and background considering these form a minor part of the natural human diet according to the last point in the above post. Isn't this being dishonest? You should really have pictures of dead cows, pigs and sheep ( before they are nicely cut up into pieces that stop you thinking it's a dead animal) to be equivalent to the vegetables shown, unless you think veg portrays healthfulness over meat."

Non starchy vegetables are a mainstay in our low carb diet. As can be seen by the typical meal above. Four different vegetables, check out this and other great food ideas at our recipe blog here.  As for what cavemen ate I cannot say. We are omnivores, hence the canine teeth. Eddie

I don't think that most of a nutritional value of a meal comes from vegetables. Vegetables provide some nutrition and fiber and are very useful for increasing food enjoyment, but animal products provide the majority of necessary macro- and micro elements, and most of necessary vitamins.

Where do people get the idea that we don't eat veggies on a low-carb diet? There is no either/or. Guess what? We can eat meat/fish and veggies at the same time. What ignorance.
