I watched this last night but was kind of disappointed that they showed a high meat diet. Most low carbers I know eat mosly vegetables and a bit of meat, not masses of pork and crackling etc. Typical attitude from the doctors though... sadly.

I watched it 'til the end. We have had this same controversy here in the US for years when Dr. Atkins came out with his diet in the 70's or 80's. Of course it has been adjusted and a bit through the years but Atkins products are everywhere now. Low carb is the way to go for me and my MD also recommends it and follows it as well. Thanks for sharing, Jan!

We never cut the fat, especially not those who became overweight and obese, what were they eating? Steamed broccoli and haddock, no sauce no batter or was it boiled rice with canned in water tuna or baked potato with grilled chicken served with Salad, no butter or Mayo, or sliced turkey sandwiches no butter or marge, like hell it was.
