Salads, Salads and More Salads !

I think salads can be enjoyed at anytime, and they are certainly very popular when the warmer summer months are here! There are so many varieties to choose from. A more simple Green salad to a lovely Greek salad, or even a Chicken Caesar salad.

Reading an article on Diet Doctor site about low carb and keto salads, it stated that 'many people think of salads as boring diet food that will leave you hungry and unsatisfied.' (I don't find that).'Low carb and keto salad recipes are rich in protein — and they’re filled with nutrition, flavours, and healthy fats to keep you fuelled all day long! From Caesar to Taco, Greek to Egg, low carb / keto-friendly salads are the perfect side, main, lunch, or dinner.' Read more at Diet Doctor site for their top ten keto salads and top ten low carb salads, the link you need is here

As you know from my blog, I am a huge fan of salads. However, I'm beginning to enjoy eating them more than I enjoy making them. lol

Salads are good. One thing I like about spring is that I can find good salad greens. In the winter, the stores have old greens tightly wrapped in plastic — ugh!

Now that both spinach and strawberries are ready in my garden, I think I'll give the Spinach Strawberry salad a try tomorrow. It sounds delicious. Salads allow for great creativity.

A merely green salad might leave one hungry, but not a greek or chicken salad.

I do enjoy salads in the Summer, I just add anything that I have available. I'm not so keen in the winter though.

This salad looks amazing! The more ingredients a salad has, the more enjoyable it seems to be. Filled with vitamins too!

Yes, I like salads. My problem is that some ingredients spoil before I can eat them all. I wish I could buy smaller quantities.

I do love a good salad. I like the ones with fruit and a little nuts too. But my standard is always: cucumber, lettuce and tomatoes. Then normally add olives, sweetcorn, pickled garlic and a few other things when I take the notion!

I love a good salad! I often order them when we go out to eat. I don't particularly like heavy meals at any time of the year.

Me encantan las ensaladas, hoy mismo hemos comido una. Suelo hacer bastantes ensaladas, una especial es de naranja, huevo, atún, cebolla, aceite de oliva y sal... está riquísima. Besos.
