Yum. I do love a roast beef dinner but I rarely cook one on a Sunday, we usually have a roast on a Monday. I used to work every Sunday so was never here for dinner and now I've stopped working we've just carried on with our routine of have a roast dinner in the week.

Thanks for finding us this recipe. Low carb Yorkshire pudding, what a treat. I find that I have to keep changing things up . . . I don't want my hubby getting bored with our new low carb meals. Thank you again.

Jo - we don't always have a roast dinner on Sundays ... I think we can enjoy them almost any day of the week.

These pictures are stunning, Jan. Did you take them? I'm a morning person, so I've seen more sunrises than I have sunsets. Roast is one of my favorites, and haven't had it in awhile. This one looks delicious.

Have a very nice Sunday afternoon.

Oh my, it's been a while since I tasted a roast like this. It looks wonderful and thank you for another great recipe Jan.

Sheri - glad you liked the images, for many in the UK Sunday isn't Sunday without a Roast.

Cracking photos! I used to visit a wood in Sussex especially in autumn for the colours (and deer) and in spring for the birdsong and flowers, for about 40 years. During that time I took hundreds of photos, the horse chestnut leaves were my absolute favourites.

This year here the colours look to be a few weeks away yet.

Roast beef just isn't the same without my mother's roast potatoes. I think she learned from her mother to part-boil them before roasting them in dripping or lard, but that's not really relevent right now.

I might grill a steak with brussels sprouts next week. Or casserole one with black pepper and a bay leaf in red wine with coloured peppers, garlic and maybe some celery.

Hello again Sheri - yes, these images are courtesy of google, but the trees in the UK are turning fantastic colours at the moment. Autumn / the Fall is such a great season.

Enjoy the rest of your Sunday and have a good week next week.

Denise - thanks so much for your comment.
Roasts are great aren't they - beef, lamb, pork, chicken, turkey ... so many good dishes to choose from, and of course a Roast isn't just for Sunday's.

Chris - glad you liked these photo's, just right for this time of year!

My dear mum always used to pre-boil her potatoes ready for roast, and use dripping or lard, I can remember they sure tasted good!

Your recipe ideas for next week sound good to me ...

Have a great week next week, I think the weather should be good.

I did not know George. I did not like his style. I almost could believe he tortured some of those people by their expressions.

Thank you for visiting. I am not ready for fall for then comes winter.

Lizzy is a sweetheart.

Have a blessed week.

Gail - many thanks for your comment. I think 'George' ...George Clair Tooker's style is not to my liking either, but the verse you used on your recent post was good, and captured the subject matter well ... well I thought so!

Your Lizzy is definitely a sweetheart.

Hope you liked the images I shared ... the Fall /Autumn is good, and so colourful and winter can be a good season too - will just have to get my winter knits out!

Have an enjoyable week ahead.

Linda ... I think we all love our 'moms' dinners, growing up Sunday Dinner meant a lovely roast. Just maybe that has fallen by the wayside in 'modern times', but it's always a meal I enjoy.

Many thanks for your comments.
