Number One
Number Two
Number Three
For the recipe idea please go across to Libby's 'Ditch the Carbs' site here
Once you've baked the cookie/biscuits allow to cool and then add frosting/icing and decorate anyway you like. Now, I like the dark chocolate (90%) swirls on number two
... but which cookie/biscuit would you choose?
Decorated with dark chocolate
Studies show that dark chocolate (not the sugary type) can improve health and lower the risk of heart disease.
Dark Chocolate is Very Nutritious:
If you buy quality dark chocolate with a high cocoa content, then it is actually quite nutritious.
It contains a decent amount of soluble fiber and is loaded with minerals.
A 100 gram bar of dark chocolate with 70-85% cocoa contains:
11 grams of fiber.
67% of the RDA for Iron.
58% of the RDA for Magnesium.
89% of the RDA for Copper.
98% of the RDA for Manganese.
It also has plenty of potassium, phosphorus, zinc and selenium."

Now, although I usually drink tea, I find a nice cup of coffee goes well with one of these cookie/biscuits ... can I make you one ...

Me too, I would choose the dark choc., but they all look pretty yummy. Happy week you Guys.
All three look absolutely scrumptious...but if someone told me that I could choose only one, it would be #3...then I would sneak back and take one from #2 & #1 😊
They all look nice and a good recipe idea. I choose number one.

Definitely number three for me, I love walnuts.
Those are impressive nutrient figures for a single bar of chocolate. I got my 85% Aldi bar this morning Jan. Luckily Sue is not keen on the "bitterness" so I get to eat it all while she tucks into her bog standard Fruit and Nut.
they all look great but I would say the 3rd one looks good with the walnut added :)
That's a tough choice, Jan! I think I'll have one of each :)
I'd need to sample each type of biscuit to be able to make an informed decision!
I couldn't possibly choose....they all look so delicious! Thanks for sharing these! x Karen
Looks very yummy!
i'll have 2 of #1 please, with a cup of hot tea, pretty please!!
That's a tough call.
It's interesting that you choose tea to have with your cookie, Here coffee would be hands down the beverage of choice for chocolate chip cookies, brownies......or anything of that ilk. As for which one I would prefer, I think you had better make a batch and send me a dozen of each so that I can properly try them all and give them my full, discriminating attention before I can render a verdict!!
Number 2 please!! : ) And I'll take a few!
OOOh, the first one or the second I think! Tasty!
Both look so good. I need to spend some time here and learn how to bake more healthy.
None of the above. I'd have one of those chocolate squares (okay, maybe two!) with a nice cup of hot Twinings tea with milk. :-)
I'd probably choose the last cookie with the walnuts. And a good cup of coffee sure does go well with chocolate. Two of my favorite treats, Jan.

Got your comment and I was super glad you left your pick. Also, wanted to know if you're on G+. I looked for you but didn't find you. I've been having fun on there. Please let me know if you have a page. Thanks!
That would be hard to pick but I would love that cup of coffee with them :)
Yes please Jan, a coffee and cookie sounds pretty good right about now ☺
Look delicious !!
Oh....how yummy! I would opt for number three, I imagine that nutty crunch would seal the deal! I just love dark chocolate.xxx
The third one appeals to me. Unfortunately I don't tolerate almonds.
#3 for me.
I love chocolate and coffee. :-)
Can I have all of them??? LOL!
Chocolate on chocolate? It does not matter. Since I love pecans, if I could only have one cookie, I would take the ones with pecans on top.
