Is God stupid?
No! this is not a rant against religious people, whoever your God maybe. This guy is one of my Gurus and well worth your time. He always makes perfect sense to me. Eddie
I like what he says. My dad ate the fat in foods, never cut the fat off his steak, ate about six eggs a week, drank full fat milk, all his life. He was never overweight or sick until he got lung cancer from smoking, which he started doing aged 11, and died from it aged 75.
I know my biggest problem is my sugar consumption and ice cream, which I eat far too much of, but both are getting cut back this year. The sugar is easy, one cup of coffee a day instead of three or four, because that's where I add too much sugar; the ice cream will be a harder habit to break since it is summer here now and the cool creamy deliciousness is wonderful on a hot day, but smaller serves will be the way to go. I already don't eat processed foods, nor store bought cakes and cookies etc. I think I'm setting myself on the right track.
He makes the argument that people can't make other people stay alive more than "God". Well god never came out with antibiotics or vaccines. Or the fact that virtually every fruit and vegetable in the grocery store were a result of human-caused selective breeding of far less edible produce.
@River, I think if somebody just struggles too much to move away from a favorite desert,it is better to try a low-sugar version with a sugar substitute, preferably done with your own hands. Than you will be able to use more agreeable version of a sugar substitute, or even use less regular sugar. I recently saw on TV how they even did a frozen custard without an icecream machine.https://www.cookscountry.com/recipes/8466-old-fashioned-vanilla-frozen-custard
@Adam, in nature fruits and other eatable plants are always seasonal, omnivorous animals eat it to get enough body fat to survive the time of scarcity. Therefore from a religious person point of view(not my case) it could be reasonable to say "God created fruits to make his creation fat".
I liked this video. But in the beginning foods were different and very different from how man has since intervened. Perhaps best to avoid processed and eat real food or at least as real as it can be in 2017.

He has some good ideas.......no one has all the answers but he is definitely starting to think along the right lines.

my diet's main statement that I follow is to eat what came from a plant, not the foods made in a plant(factory)
