Nigel Farage Speech to Alexis Tsipras at the European Parliament today.

Democracy is a system of government in which all the people of a state or polity are involved in making decisions about its affairs. The term originates from the Greek δημοκρατία (dēmokratía) "rule of the people", which was found from δῆμος (dêmos) "people" and κράτος (krátos) "power" or "rule", in the 5th century BC to denote the political systems then existing in Greek city-states, notably Athens. Wiki

Last week we heard the NSA had been hacking Angela Merkel's phone for years, and it was known five years ago the Greeks would not be able to pay back the bail out money and other loans. Money the people of Greece did not receive. The money went straight to German, French and Italian private Banks to cover their butts. For various reasons the Greeks must take some responsibility for the situation they find themselves in. But make no mistake, they are also the victims of much treachery and greed from foreign Banks and Governments.

The last thing the EU wants is democracy. Greece has faced some very tough times in recent years, and very tough times are ahead. I hope the Greeks leave the EU with all it's corruption. I hope they re-issue the Drachma and take back their country and return to prosperity. Nigel Farage nailed it today, Greece has got friends all over the World. The very best of luck to the people of Greece, the founders of democracy. Eddie

Very good applause for Farage's speech.
I sincerely wish the best for the people of Greece. Grant them the strength to go it alone. Genuine friends will not let them down.
