When one door closes another opens.

I played golf for around 50 years, a hand problem ended that pastime. So, loving the great outdoors I took up fishing. I thought it would get me off the sofa and out amongst nature. I expected it to be fun but not overly exciting, I was wrong. Having a heavy fish on a rod bent double and pulling your arms off is certainly not boring. When I am not fishing, I am reading about fishing or watching videos about fishing. It has certainly taken me over, but I have not got as bad as this guy, like him, I do my share of the household chores. Is this the way I am heading, I ask myself. Eddie

Kinds of fishes we can get have changed due to water pollution through rapid industrialization.

Fishing must be an enjoyable summer passtime and generally it's a source of good food.
Your bouquet in the previous post is simple gorgeous Jan. Thanks so much for being here, wishing you and your team a wonderful August.

My husband is a lifelong fisherman and still gets excited like a little boy over his catches.

The same in the UK, also, on most of our coasts, commercial fishing by big trawlers have decimated the fish stocks. Even sea birds such as cormorants are coming in land and clearing the fish out of many rivers.

Well, we all know most men are just overgrown kids. That being said, many Women are very keen and very skilled at fishing. Better for kids to be out on a lake or river than sitting at a games console for too much of their spare time.

Arguably, the most important thing for a kid to learn, is how to swim. Stay safe.

If you want a replacement sport Thu golf, have you considered trap or skeet shooting?

What a great hobby this is. So glad you found something that pleases you after playing golf for so many years and not being able to any more. I have to say that I like fishing much more. :)
