Research Connecting Organ Damage with Blood Sugar Level.
If you fall into the don't want to know category keep well away from the link and the information it contains.
Ah yes - but is it the high blood sugar that is responsible or the factor that is triggering the high blood sugar? Perhaps the high blood sugar is just a coincidence. After all, it seemed that organ damage can also occur in those without higher blood sugar levels although perhaps more prevalent in those with it.
What though if the factor that is causing the high blood sugar is also responsible for the organ damage...whether or not they are in tandem?
It long was 'accepted wisdom' that obesity triggered diabetes but in recent times it has been acknowledged that obesity and diabetes are, in fact, two sides of the same coin - namely metabolic disfunction.
