Cases of diabetes increase to more than 3.2m !

"The number of people diagnosed with diabetes in the UK has increased to more than 3.2m, NHS data reveals.
Last year, there were 163,000 new diagnoses - the biggest annual increase since 2008, GP figures show.
This means 6% of UK adults are registered as diabetic. An estimated 850,000 more have diabetes without knowing it.
Diabetes UK says the rise is largely fuelled by type 2 diabetes, linked to obesity and unhealthy lifestyles."
More on this story here.
An unnamed source at DUK said "we recommend the sort of diets that have lead to the obesity epidemic, that way most victims stay obese and require lot's of medication to try and get their BG numbers down to safe levels" he went on to say "We take so much money from big pharma, we dare not recommend a diet that requires no medication to control type two diabetes" When asked why DUK do not recommend a low carb diet to control type two diabetes, he became ashen and  stated "Who is gonna pay my salary and pay for my company car if big pharma pull the plug on us?"

You really think the NHS, DUK would question why the number has and is still increasing. Could it be something to do with the bad dietary advice they give out?
