British Dietetic Association love our blog !

Recently I posted up some threads regarding Sian Porter, the rubenesque BMI challenged mouthpiece for the BDA. While researching Sian, I read her Linkedin profile, which linked to a website. I was very surprised at some of the information on the site. The reason I was surprised, because the site had some very useful information, and talked of keto diets which have many benefits for diabetics. Useful information for diabetics, is not something I associate with the BDA. So, a bit of a mystery maybe. All became clear today, when I received this email. BTW I just checked Sian's Linky site and it still links to the sensible site.

For the purpose of clarity the good advice site is here.

Hi there
I’m the webmaster of Freelance Dietitians, the specialist group of the British Dietetic Association (BDA). Our web address is www.freelancedietitians.org  The group no longer owns the domain name www.dietitiansunlimited.co.uk, which has been taken up by a commercial organisation which does not appear to include any UK-registered dietitians.
Your website has links to this old domain name, so that your users are being directed to a bogus site, which I’m sure is not what you intended. I would urge you to amend any links you have showing dietitiansunlimited to www.freelancedietitians.org
Please contact me on hilary@marketing-menu.com or the BDA’s webmaster David King on d.king@bda.uk.com if you need any further information or confirmation on this matter.
With thanks and best regards
Hilary

The age old saying the left hand doesn't know what the right hand is doing fits quite aptly, don't you think?

I guess we can make up our own minds about which is the "bogus" site, Hilary. Glad you reaffirmed your intentions by posting another link to the good info, Eddie :-)
