This is an excellent short video on the benefits of low carbing. A couple of points I raise is for me and most low carb diabetics, 50 carbs per day is the top end. Also, the very best controlled diabetics I know, i.e. long term HbA1c in the fours or low fives, have been nearer 30 carbs per day than 50. The comment on saturated fats is another point I would disagree with. If you see a dietitian and they do not understand the benefits of a low carb diet, they are unlikely to be able to help you.
